Apa sih Teknologi 3G itu?
3G atau third-generation Tecnology adalah sebuah standart yang ditetapkan oleh ITU(Internasional Telecommunication Union). Pada tahun 1999ITU telah mengeluarkan standart yang dikenal sebagai IMT-2000(International Mobile Telecommunications 2000). IMT tersebut meliputi GSM, EDGE, UMTS, CDMA, DECT dan WiMAX, dimana 3G berada di bawah standar IMT tersebut.
Secara umum ITU mendefinisikan 3G sebagai sebuah teknologi yang di aplikasikan pada jaringan telepon seluler yang mengacu pada perkembangan teknologi telepon nirkabel versi tiga. Tahukah sobat bahwa teknologi 3G ini memiliki akses cepat ke internet? Bahwa pada kenyataannya 3G bisa memberikan kecepatan akses super cepat, yakni :
- Sebesar 128 Kbps untuk kondisi bergerak cepat atau menggunakan sepeda motor.
- Sebesar 384 Kbps untuk kondisi bergerak
- Serta lebih dari 2 Mbpsuntuk kondisi statik/ pengguna transioner
Bagaimana sih perkembangan sejarah 3G?
Secara evolusioner jaringan telepon komunikasi seluler telah meningkat menuju layanan 3G dari tahun 1999 hingga 2011. Jepang berhasil menjadi negara pertama yang memperkenalkan 3G secara Nasional. Selanjutnya disusul negara Korea yang menjadi pengadopsi jaringan 3G pertama.
Sejauh mana sih perkembngan 3G?
Secara evolusioner teknologi 3G telah dikembangkan menjadi 3,5G melalui peningkatan kecepatan transmisi data dengan teknologi berbasis HSPDA(High Speed Downlink Packet Acces). Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, belakangan ini industri nirkabel mulai mengembangkan teknologi 4G. Teknologi 4G ini seperti Long Term Evolution. Perlu sobat ketahui bahwa teknologi 4G ini hanya merupakan evolusi dari teknologi 3GPP dan Ultra Mobile Broadband(UMB) yang berasal dari 3GPP2. Sehingga sulit membedakan dengan jelas teknologi 3G dengan 4G. Salah satu contoh teknologi 4G
Apa sih yang kita dapat dari teknologi 3G?
Ternyata teknologi 3G ini memungkinkan kita untuk saling bertukar informasi, baik dalam bentuk teks, suara, gambar dan video live secara cepat, sehingga seperti tidak ada jarak antar penggunanya. Menyenangkan bukan? Selain itu dengan teknologi 3G sobat bisa melakukan berbagai apliksi mulai dari mobile internet berkecepatan tinggi hingga 2 Mbps, location- based service, mobile shopping, multy party video conference, video streaming, clock2dial, unfied electronic mal hingga Mp3 Mobile downloading. Benar- benar teknologi super canggih bukan?
Bagaimana sih perkembangan resmi 3G di Indonesia?
Pengembangan resmi 3G di Indonesia sampai saat ini baru ada 3 perusahaan seluler yang terpilih oleh direktorat Jenderal Pos & Telekomunukasi, karena memiliki lisensi untuk mengembangkan 3G di Indonesia. Perusahaan seluler tersebut adalah Telkomsel, Excelcomindo Pratama dan Indosat.
Selanjutnya samakah antara GSM dan 3G?
Yaps, tentu saja berbeda. Lalu apa perbedaannya?
Pada GSM, kedua ponsel yang sedang berbicara membuka satu hubungan gelombang radio yang permanen. Sehingga dalam hal ini tidak ada perbedaan antara saat berbicara, mendengar, atau kedua partisipan komunikasi diam. Karena hubungan antara kedua ponsel terbuka secara permanen. Sedangkan pada 3G memecah pembicaraan dalam paket- paket kecil, kemudian menandainya dan mengirimkannya melalui gelombang radio. Metode transmisi data inilah yang memungkinkan akses yang sangat cepat. Dengan metode transmisi ini dapat menghemat bandwidth karena tidak membutuhkan hubungan yang permanen antara kedua pesawat yang tengah berkomunikasi, sehingga memungkinkan data- data berukuran besar baik gambar, suara dan video dapat terangkut dengan cepat. Nah, jadi hal inilah yang membedakan antra GSM dengan 3G.

            But, of course there is the original ideal Korean culture, such as Hwangdo (Road Knights). Hwangdo teaches that the Koreans must have high integrity and discipline. Hwangdo in the past was only for royalty but now all the Koreans to apply it. ISSUES
            Cultures which the author mentioned in the introduction, seems to be the foundations for Korean culture now. Perhaps we can say all cultures are united Korea (Choson) became the foundation for Korean culture now.
